June 26, 2019—Portsmouth, NH – Piscataqua Savings Bank, located at 15 Pleasant Street, will hold their Grand Re-Opening on Wednesday, June 26 beginning at 10 am.
The Bank is inviting customers and the community to attend the event, which will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Mayor Jack Blalock. Afterward, tours of the newly renovated space, refreshments and giveaways will be offered.
The renovation was a decade in the making, after the Board of Trustees at Piscataqua Savings Bank determined that their four buildings required substantial updates to improve customer access to services and create space for current and future growth. The construction process took 20 months and a series of phases, with the final stages recently completed this month.
President and CEO of Piscataqua Savings Bank, Rick Wallis said the renovation balances 21st century architectural and technological innovation with 19th century tradition. He said he’s excited to share the results of renovations with the community.
“Though we’ve improved our ability to deliver services and meet the needs of people today and in the future, we still share the traditions we were founded on more than 140 years ago,” said Wallis.
To attend the Grand Re-Opening, no RSVPs are required but more information on Portsmouth’s bank can be found at piscataqua.com.
